In Los Angeles, the day is set to bring a third consecutive hot day. It starts dry under thick cloud at around 24 °C and rises to 33 °C by early afternoon. Skies brighten later and the temperature eases to about 23 °C by evening. No rain is expected today.

The night stays dry and mostly clear, with the temperature falling to about 21 °C. Winds remain light and turn north-easterly at times.

Sunday starts at around 21 °C and stays dry. The afternoon reaches 31 °C before cooling to about 21 °C in the evening, with gusts of up to 26 km/h in the morning.

Monday brings some relief at 28 °C, followed by 25 °C on Tuesday. The main change arrives on Wednesday, when 20 °C and around 18 mm of rain are possible; Thursday remains showery at 22 °C. From 24 October onwards, the figures are only an uncertain trend.

The wind starts light from the north-east, turns south-easterly during the morning and west to south-west in the afternoon. Gusts peak at around 24 km/h early in the afternoon, so crosswinds will be noticeable on exposed road sections; the wind eases in the evening.
