Berlin stays under thick cloud on Sunday, with fog lingering in places and barely an hour of sunshine forecast for the whole day. The temperature edges up to 14°C this afternoon, then slips to 13°C by 18:00 and 12°C by 21:00. No rain is expected, and none is modelled for the evening or the night either – a few neighbouring models still allow up to 6 mm this afternoon, but the Berlin run keeps it dry.

The cloud breaks overnight and the air cools to about 6°C by early morning, well below the afternoon value. A jacket will earn its keep on the way out.

Monday starts fresh at 6°C but dry, and from mid-morning the sun takes over: nine hours are forecast, though temperatures struggle to 11°C in the afternoon.

Tuesday stays in the same groove at 11°C with plenty of cloud and little sun. Wednesday then brings the first proper soaking after three dry days, with around 7 mm at 15°C, and Thursday follows with further showers at 13°C and gusts to 39 km/h. The weekend looks set to turn cooler – Sunday could bring rain, close to 10°C and very strong gusts, though that remains an uncertain trend.

Since midweek Berlin has settled into a quieter, cooler track: 18.8°C on Friday was followed by just 12.6°C and half a millimetre of rain on Saturday, and today stays below 15°C. A heat spell is a distant prospect, with the count of days at 30°C or more standing at zero. Dryness is the more persistent theme, with no rain windows through Tuesday and Wednesday looking like the turning point. Whether Sunday really turns as stormy as some runs suggest is still open.

The wind blows from east to north-east at 10–12 km/h, gusting to 28 km/h in the evening. That is noticeable on open stretches at the city edge and on bridges, especially between 18:00 and 22:00.
