Monday begins in Zürich with fog and just 10 °C, and visibility may be poor in places through the morning. The cloud breaks at times in the afternoon, temperatures rise from 14 °C early in the afternoon to 15 °C later, and it stays dry until midnight; the next rainfall is not due until the early hours of Wednesday.

Tuesday starts around 10 °C with thick cloud, then sunny spells develop and the temperature reaches 17 °C. It stays dry through the evening; rain is expected overnight into Wednesday from 02:30 to 07:06.

Wednesday brings rain and wind, with highs near 12 °C, about 12 mm of rain and gusts up to 50 km/h. Thursday settles down with long sunny spells and a maximum of 14 °C. Friday turns milder again at 16 °C but gusty, and further rain is likely over the weekend; Sunday could bring 25 mm and gusts up to 85 km/h.

The weather data for the past few days show a clear change: after a bright Friday at 20.8 °C, the weekend brought only 14.2 °C and 12.0 °C, with 2 mm of rain on Saturday and no sunshine on either day. A short dry and milder spell follows before rain and a freshening westerly wind bring the next change overnight into Wednesday. Thursday stays cool, before Friday recovers to around 16 °C.

The wind is light from the north at first, turns north-easterly in the afternoon and rises to around 10 km/h; by 19:00 gusts may reach 23 km/h. The headwind will be noticeable on exposed routes and around the lake, though conditions remain ordinary for the city.
