In Munich the weather stays dry until Tuesday noon. The afternoon remains mostly overcast with highs of around 14 °C; by 18:00 only a few clouds are left and the temperature slips to 11 °C. By 21:00 it is down to 8 °C.

The night turns clear and chilly, with the temperature falling to around 5 °C. In the damp air before dawn, fog forms and may reduce visibility in places.

Tuesday starts foggy and at roughly 5 °C, noticeably cooler than Monday. The fog thins gradually through the morning, reaching about 9 °C by noon and up to 14 °C in the afternoon. No rain falls before midday.

Rain arrives on Wednesday: 8.6 mm, no more than 11 °C and gusts to 31 km/h. Thursday stays windy with gusts of up to 50 km/h and a few showers at 11 °C. Friday looks brighter again at 14 °C.

Looking back, Saturday brought just over 5 mm of rain and Sunday was dull, with barely 0.6 hours of sunshine. After a mild 21.6 °C on Friday, highs have sat around seven degrees lower. The 30-degree mark is out of reach in mid-October, and the coming days stay between 10 and 14 °C. The dry spell that began on Sunday is likely to end on Wednesday.

The wind blows light to moderate from the east-northeast at 6 to 11 km/h, gusting to 27 km/h in the afternoon. You will notice it on open ground and on the bike, but it will not trouble the evening commute.
