Hannover begins Sunday at 10 °C under a solid sheet of cloud, and the afternoon will not climb much past 13 °C. Between 16:00 and 19:00 the easterly wind picks up to 14 km/h, with gusts of 31 km/h.

The night stays mild at around 11 °C and firmly overcast. The easterly wind barely eases, with gusts still near 30 km/h.

Monday stays dry and the cloud begins to break, with a good seven hours of sunshine forecast and a high of 12 °C. The wind keeps coming from the east to east-south-east and turns a little fresher, with gusts to 33 km/h.

Tuesday brings the coolest air of the week at 10 °C, with the night dropping to 3 °C. Showers return on Wednesday, when the model sums 2.7 mm with a 44 % chance of rain. From Thursday the highs climb back to 14–15 °C, and by Saturday it turns distinctly windy with gusts to 46 km/h – a trend rather than a promise.

Grey Sunday is therefore not a blip but the start of a cooler, more unsettled spell.

The wind is barely noticeable in the morning, blowing from the north-east at 6 km/h. Between 16:00 and 19:00 it freshens from the east to 14 km/h with gusts of 31 km/h. That is noticeable on the ride home across open ground and bridges, especially by bike.
